My name is Linda.  I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  My mom enrolled me in dance class [Mason & Kahn Dance Studio, S.F.] at age 5, hopefully to loose baby fat.  lol Eleven years later I fell in love with dance and made a living working professionally for over 10 years.  It provided me the opportunity to travel, meet wonderful people and get paid for doing what some fantasize.   I met the love of my life [Billy, later known as Bo] and than Bruce whom I lived with in Las Vegas for many years. 

I left the business and area to embark on a new venture.  Along the way I went back to school and work in a business environment got married [to Larry] had three kids and moved to Bend, Oregon.  Along the journey, my son was dx. with Asperger Syndrome [high functioning autism,] at age four which led me to  co-found 4 support groups.  T.A.L.K. [Taking Action Against Language Disorders, Oregon Parents United, A.S.P.I.R.E.S. and B.R.A.S.S…   I live in a city that the media claims is one of the most desirable places in the world.  Bend remains a retirement and resort area with little industry.

Four months ago I started ”new” beginnings, i.e. divorce, leased a new house, and bought a new car, furniture and job.  I LOVE IT!  I am back on my own with my youngest daughter and loving it! 

Scared?  Sometimes.  I think of those that are no longer walking among us like Bo and Bruce and some of my family and know they are on the other side watching out for me and guiding me.  I know they are just around the corner waiting for me.  So for right now, I am rediscovering myself and learning to love and cherish life gain.  To NEW Beginnings for all of us!  May 2007 be our year!
